Retrofitable SMArt locking device

A retrofitable replacement for traditional manual swing-handle data center cabinet locks that offers many adaptor and mounting systems.

Designed to be installed onto a broad range of cabinets and enclosures, this server cabinet lock leverages its embedded micro-processing, integrated sensing and switching capability to offer the next generation of electronic locking.

TZ SlideHandle server cabinet locks are powered and controlled using either RS485 serial data communications or dry contact closure via standard UTP Cat5e/Cat6 cabling through a TZ Praetorian Junction or TZ Centurion Bridge. TZ SlideHandle can also be direct connected to standard access control or dry contact closure systems.

TZ SwingHandle

Fully upgradeable manual handle

An innovative locking handle for data center cabinets offering genuine flexibility with an upgrade path from a manual swing-handle lock to a fully intelligent SMArt Device via a simple-to-install electronic upgrade module.

The fully upgraded electronic TZ SwingHandle device provides all the features of the TZ SlideHandle complete with Shape Memory Allow (SMA) actuator,  controlled release option, multicolor visual door status indicator, emergency keyed release and electronic door status sensor. Like TZ SlideHandle, the TZ SwingHandle (when fully upgraded) is powered and controlled via standard structured cabling.

The TZ SwingHandle can be installed wherever a standard swing handle is currently used. The TZ SwingHandle functions as a standard swing handle lock with the extra security of a Euro Profile key lock or a CombiLock. The TZ SwingHandle allows for a one-off installation of rack hardware, such as cams and push rods, to support regular functionality.

TZ Radial

Compact, high load locking device

A compact, lightweight, high-load locking device using an eight-jaw locking mechanism to capture and hold an inserted mating stud. The mechanism is controlled by a Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) actuator which in turn is managed by integrated electronics, which provides programmability, communications and control by software.

The embedded intelligence at the device level enables networking, switching and the ability to control other devices and connect with smart objects such as sensors.

The TZ Radial locking device can be operated via a range of triggers, including internal sensor, push button, contact closure, or RS-485 serial communications network command. The device features a manual override and one-foot cable with an RJ-45 coupler for connection to standard patch cables.

TZ PushLock

SMArt secondary locking mechanism

An intelligent locking system offering easy installation as a secondary electronic lock mechanism for the top of the data cabinet. Available for cabinet and frame types where it is not acceptable to modify the door or to replace the existing locking and latching mechanisms.

Added to an existing cabinet with lock, the TZ PushLock is powered and controlled using either RS485 serial data communications or dry contact closure via standard UTP Cat5e/Cat6 cabling through a TZ Praetorian Junction or TZ Centurion Bridge. TZ PushLock can also be directly connected to standard access control or dry contact closure systems.
